The Women’s District of Columbia Golf Association offers three junior girl golf events.  Our goal is to help in the development and growth of young female golfers in our local area by exposing them to tournament golf.  Many of the current WDCGA members played in WDCGA Junior Girls events when they were young.  The WDCGA program affords young women the opportunity to compete at varying skill levels. We ask that all participants be familiar with the rules and etiquette of the game of golf along with the basic skills of golf.  Girls walk and carry their own clubs.  Participation is open to girls who have not yet reached their 18^th birthday.  There are no entry fees and prizes are awarded.

This event is a two-player scramble. The girls are treated to lunch and

then play nine holes with a WDCGA member as their partner.

This event is scheduled early in the season and serves as a mixer

so the girls have an opportunity to meet one another.

 and was an active member of the WDCGA.

This event has both nine and eighteen hole divisions.
