The Women’s District of Columbia Golf Association offers three junior girl golf events. Our goal is to help in the development and growth of young female golfers in our local area by exposing them to tournament golf. Many of the current WDCGA members played in WDCGA Junior Girls events when they were young. The WDCGA program affords young women the opportunity to compete at varying skill levels. We ask that all participants be familiar with the rules and etiquette of the game of golf along with the basic skills of golf. Girls walk and carry, push, or pull their own clubs. WDCGA Junior Girls' Golf Program is open to girls who, by the date of the tournament, have not yet reached their 18th birthday. Exceptions are made for those who are 18 years old, have graduated from high school in the current year and have not yet attended college. There are no entry fees and prizes are awarded.
