The Keefer Cup is one of the WDCGA's longest running events. The tournament is a two-day (thirty-six hole) stroke play event held at Chevy Chase Club. Although it is a two day event, as of 2009 the WDCGA will also award low gross and low net prizes for each day's play. This change will allow players to play either of the two days and still compete for a prize. Also, players are not required to use Chevy Chase caddies but may bring their own caddie or carry their own bag. The tournament fee is $30, whether you play one or two days.
Additional Tournament Information
Use of carts is restricted to those who have a medical excuse or are over the age of 65. Pull carts are not allowed. Cell phones, PDAs, Blackberrys, etc. are NOT allowed on the club premises including the golf course.
