The Linda Tucker Cup is sponsored by Mr. Robert Tucker in honor of his wife Linda Tucker. The Tuckers’ are members of Westwood Country Club. Linda is a past president of the Women’s District of Columbia Golf Association (2006 – 2007) and is currently a member of the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Committee.

The Linda Tucker Cup was first held in 2001 as a ‘C’ Class Tournament but was changed to an ‘A’ Class event in 2006. The Linda Tucker Cup is one of two Class ‘A’ Gross winner Cups held by the WDCGA.
