WDCGA member Erica Steiner, Montgomery Country Club, feels honored to sponsor this C Cup tournament in memory of her father, Dr. Walter G. Steiner, 1921—2006. With great affection, Erica describes her father this way: “He was a son, husband, father, friend, supporter, doctor, pilot, golfer, grandfather, great-grandfather, and e-mail buddy. He would be very proud of this event and all the participants, and I am sure he is watching.” Although my mother did not play golf, this event is also to honor her. Sylvia Steiner passed away last September, 1917-2009. Whenever possible, Erica attends the tournament luncheon and personally presents the Walter Steiner Cup to the event winner.
